GENERAL SPORTS RULES POLICY

Settlement of our listed Outcomes are governed by the following conditions, except where the rules relating to a particular sport or Outcome provide otherwise. Where there is a conflict between the following conditions and a particular individual sports rule, the individual sports rule shall prevail.

1. Sports Betting House Rules

1.1. These Sporttrade Betting Rules (“House Rules”), together and with Sporttrade’s Terms and Conditions, (“Terms and Conditions”) are applicable to all wagering/trading activity on the Sporttrade iOS or Android Mobile Apps, or on the Sporttrade Web application. By accessing Sporttrade (as defined in the Terms of Conditions), you acknowledge reading, understanding, and accepting these House Rules, including Section 1 (Sports Betting House Rules) and Section 2 (Sports Specific Rules). These House Rules are subject to change at any time in Sporttrade’s sole discretion, subject to any required regulatory approvals, and shall be immediately in effect and binding on you. Sporttrade’s final determination as to the interpretation and application of the House Rules and the Events, Outcomes, prices, Outcome settlements, and commissions is binding on you.

2.7. Outcomes listed on Events that have either not started or have not met the minimum length for an Event to be official, will result in the Outcome being voided. When an Outcome is voided, the customer’s unfilled resting orders will be canceled, her position risk will be refunded, her commissions incurred will be refunded, and her closed profit/loss on the Outcome will be reversed.

For the avoidance of doubt, when an Outcome is voided, any customer who has placed at least one order on the Outcome will have her available funds reset as if she had never placed any orders on the Outcome.

2.8. Prohibitions exist that restrict the acceptance of wagers; No person shall make any unauthorized wager or conduct any sports betting activity on its premises or through any online or electronic means unless in accordance with the act, the Rules and Regulations promulgated by the NJ DGE, or the laws and regulations governing other betting activities which are licensed or approved by an agency of the State of New Jersey.

Payouts can come in three forms;

1) A Member can receive a payout when de-risking on an Outcome or Market

2) A Member can receive a payout when her open Position settles for a profit when the Outcome settles

3) A Member can receive a payout when Sporttrade releases some or all of her previously-restricted funds, which can happen in two ways;

  1. The Member can de-risk on an Outcome or Market for a loss where the Member previously had an Unsettled Profit of over the available profits threshold of $1,000. In this instance, the Member will receive a payout equal to the delta of previous restricted funds amount minus the new restricted funds amount.

  2. An Outcome where the Member previously had an Unsettled Profit of over the available profits threshold of $1,000 settles. In this instance, the Member will receive a payout equal to the previous restricted funds amount.

5.1. In-play trading allows for the placing of orders and reception of executions during an ongoing Event. Sporttrade may partially or fully suspend trading on an Outcome that is in-play at any time and impose a delay on any or all orders, including, but not limited to, timing, placement, or acceptance delays. Sporttrade reserves the right to backout any part of any or all trades on in-play Events that are not completed, subject to approval from the NJDGE.

5.2. You acknowledge and understand that there may be timing issues with respect to the broadcast of sports Events, including differences in timing between the live Event and the broadcast of such live Event, and the timing and availability of the in-play Outcome may affect the offering, placement, and acceptance of wagers on in-play Outcomes, including, but not limited to, extended time for accepting and processing an in-play wager. If an in-play Outcome does not suspend or close at the applicable scheduled closure time or if no scheduled Outcomes close, then as determined by Sporttrade, all orders received or trades made after the applicable intended closure time can be canceled/backed out at Sporttrade’s discretion. Any trade made after the Outcome has been deemed to occur, or not occur or otherwise already determined will be backed out.

5.3. You acknowledge, understand and agree that (i) you may not be able to see or otherwise receive current or recent information or data with respect to Outcomes, which may be a result of, among other things, Internet and network connectivity, the capabilities of hardware and devices, delays in coverage, information or data, human, software and/or system errors, bugs or defects, conflicts or failures of any software or system to operate in accordance with the rules of the relevant Outcome, order, trade, product or service or communication, timing or display errors; and (ii) Sporttrade shall not be liable for any inability to have current or recent information or data, regardless of the reason for such inability.

5.4 In an effort to protect customers from placing orders in Outcomes with wide and/or illiquid pricing, Sporttrade may at times, at its discretion, disallow a customer from placing a “Market Buy” or “Market Sell” order. You acknowledge that the user experience of placing an order may be interrupted by a “Volatile Outcome” message, or equivalent, and that during any period at which Sporttrade, at its discretion, deems an Outcome to be in a “Volatile Outcome” state, you may not place a Market Buy or Market Sell order.

6. Proposition Wagers

6.1. Proposition Wagers Subject to New Jersey’s prohibited bets policy; see Section 17.

6.1.1. If a governing body of a league rules that a team/individual must forfeit a game/Event due to any circumstances, in advance of the game/Event being started and/or completed on the field of play; all Outcomes directly tied to that Event will be voided.

6.1.2. If a governing body of a league rules that a team/individual must forfeit a game/Event due to any circumstances, in advance of the game/Event being started and/or completed on the field of play; all Season long Team and player statistical props and Outcomes related to that game/Event shall be eligible for settlement. For example: The win and loss of the forfeited game will count, the player and team statistical total(s) Outcomes will be eligible for settlement.

6.2. Proposition Outcomes in respect of a team or a player's performance in a single game or Event, or for a specified time period within a single game or Event, will be voided if the game or Event is not completed within the timeframe and on the basis set out in the Sport Specific Rules for such game or Event, or if the specified time period is not completed, as applicable, unless otherwise specified, or unless the Outcome has been deemed to have been determined.

For example, if “Bryce Harper Over 0.5 Home Runs” is a listed Outcome in the “Philadelphia Phillies at St. Louis Cardinals” Event, and Bryce Harper hits a home run in the 3rd inning, and the game is rained out in the 4th inning, the “Bryce Harper Over 0.5 Home Runs” Outcome will have already been determined to have occurred, and will have Settled at $100.

6.3 Proposition Outcomes in respect of a player in this Section 8.1 will be voided if the applicable player does not participate in the applicable game or Event. Subject to any Sport Specific Rules, a player is deemed to have participated in a game or Event if said player sees game action during the game or the specified time period applicable to the proposition Outcome, as applicable.

6.4 Proposition Outcomes in respect to a team or a player's performance over a specified number of games or Events, or over an entire season will be voided if the original schedule of games or Events is not completed, unless otherwise specified, regardless of the status of the wagered Outcome

6.5 Proposition Outcomes in respect a team or a player's performance over a series of games or Events (e.g., a best-of-7 series) will be declared “no action” and refunded if the nature of the series is changed (e.g., a series that is originally scheduled to be best-of-7 is changed to best-of-5 or best-of-3), regardless of the status of the wagered Outcome, unless the Outcome has been determined to occur, or not occur prior.

6.6 Subject to Sections 8.3. and 8.4, proposition Outcomes in this Section will be eligible for settlement regardless of the failure of any player and/or team to compete for any reason, including but not limited to coaching discretion, injury, illness, change in contractual status, trade, load management, failure to qualify, suspension, sanction, incarceration, or disciplinary action(s) levied against a player or team.

7. Futures Outcomes

7.1. Futures Outcomes, including but not limited to Team to Qualify for Playoffs, Divisional Winner, Conference Winner, League Championship Winner will be settled based on the applicable league’s or the sport’s governing body’s determination of such result, as applicable. If no winner is declared by the league or the sport’s governing body, then the Outcomes will be voided, unless the Outcome has been determined to occur, or not occur prior. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any subsequent vacancy of a title will not be recognized, and Outcomes will not be resettled.

7.2. For futures Outcomes where participants are declared a tie, the Dead Heat rules apply.

7.3. Subject to any Sport Specific Rules set out below, futures Outcomes will be eligible for settlement regardless of any change in schedule or season length, game or Event cancellation, game or Event relocation, team relocation, and/or the failure of any player and/or team to compete for any reason, including but not limited to coaching discretion, injury, illness, change in contractual status, trade, load management, failure to qualify, suspension, sanction, incarceration, or disciplinary action(s) levied against a player or team.

7.4. Certain teams or participants may not be offered as a listed Outcome due to regulatory requirements. If such a team or participant is the winner of the game or Event, then all listed Outcomes on the game or Event will settle at $0.

8. Results and Settlement

8.1. An Outcome will be settled on the date of the Event's or the Outcome's conclusion and in the time zone in which the Event takes place.

8.2. Except as set forth elsewhere in these House Rules, Outcomes may be settled based on the results provided by the applicable sport’s governing body, third party media or data providers and/or public information at the time of the conclusion of the Event or Outcome.

8.3. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Sporttrade may result and settle an Outcome prior to the completion of said Event or Outcome, including, but not limited to, by settling some, but not all, Outcomes in a Market. An example would be a “To Win” Market in a golf Event. Outcomes listed on players who have missed the cut may be settled at $0 before the end of the Event.

8.4. Sporttrade reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any Outcome if the Outcome result cannot be determined to Sporttrade satisfaction.

8.5. Sporttrade reserves the right to determine and/or amend the settlement of any Outcome within 48 hours of settlement, as necessary to address scenarios such as conflicting results from sources of Event data or errors caused by incorrect Event or Outcome data, unless otherwise specified in the house rules..

8.6. You expressly acknowledge and agree that the determination of Sporttrade with respect to any results and settlement of an Outcome are final, determinative and binding and Sporttrade may revise account balances to reflect changes based on the determined results and settlement.

8.7. If there is an outage to the app or it is temporarily down, open positions will remain open until settlement and limit orders set prior to the outage will be honored and executed if applicable.

9. Change of Venue

9.1. Subject to the Sport Specific Rules, a change in venue shall be addressed as follows:

9.1.1. For Outcomes listed for a team sport: if the scheduled venue is changed after an Outcome is listed, but before the Outcome is “In-Play”, the Outcome will be voided.

9.1.2. For Outcomes listed for a team sport: if the scheduled venue is changed after an Outcome is “In-Play”, the Outcome will NOT be voided, and will be eligible for settlement.

9.1.3. For Outcomes listed on things not including a team sport: if the scheduled venue is changed after an Outcome is listed, the Outcome will NOT be voided, and will be eligible for settlement.

10. Dead Heats

10.1. Dead heat rules apply when there are two or more Outcomes in a Market that result in a tie.

10.1.1. If a dead heat exists to win an outright Outcome, the Outcome settlement price will be calculated by dividing (A) $100, the maximum settlement price of an Outcome, by (B) the total number of Outcomes in the Market which have been determined to be “dead heat finishers”.

10.1.2. If a dead heat exists in a “To Finish in the Top ‘X’” Market, the Outcome settlement price if the sum of the number of dead heat finishers and the finishers who placed ahead of such dead heat finishers (if any) exceeds ‘X’ will be calculated by multiplying (A) $100, the maximum settlement price of an Outcome, with the (B); the quotient of (i) the available spots for dead heat finishers in the Top ‘X’ (i.e. ‘X’ minus the number of finishers who placed ahead of such dead heat finishers (if any)) divided by (ii) the number of dead heat finishers.

10.1.2.1. By way of example, suppose a customer had a position of +5 Shares on the “Tiger Woods to Finish in the Top 5” Outcome. Suppose further that Tiger Woods and 3 other golfers tie for fourth place. The “Tiger Woods to Finish in the Top 5” Outcome would payout at $100 multiplied by (2 divided by 4) = $50 per share. The customer’s payout would be $250, (not including any commission).

11. Pricing, Odds, Sports Data and Other Information

11.1. All Events, Markets, Outcomes, prices, sports data, commissions, and payouts are displayed within the System, including the App.

You are responsible for understanding all Events, Markets, Outcomes, prices, sports data, commissions, and payouts, and the information and data related to each of the foregoing, prior to and at the time you are placing an order and agree that Sporttrade’s final determination as to the interpretation and application of these House Rules and the Events, Markets, Outcomes, prices, sports data, commissions and payouts, and the information and data related to each of the foregoing, is binding on you.

If the location of a game is changed, the Outcome will still be valid. Forfeited games that are considered official results will be included in the Outcome of season-long markets. In case of a tie, it will be considered a loss for the settlement of this market.

  • Example 1: One regular season game is canceled for a team that has 10 regular season wins. With a win total of 9.5 regular season wins, this Outcome is unconditionally determined and the Over 9.5 regular season wins will settle at $100 while the Under 9.5 regular season wins will settle at $0.

For the avoidance of doubt, Sporttrade will use “https://nflscorigami.com/” to determine if a final, official score to an NFL game indeed triggers a Scoragami.

  • “First scoring team leads entire game?": Stipulates that if the first team to score remains in the lead for the duration of the game, the "yes" outcome would be successful and pay out. However, if there is a tied score at any point during the game, the "yes" outcome will not be successful and will settle at $0.

  • “Player to lead rushing yards": States that in the event of a tie for the most rushing yards between players, the outcome of the prop will be nullified and considered void.

  • Successful Fourth Down Conversions and Fourth Down Conversion Attempts: Fourth Down conversions completed by acceptance of a penalty will not count as a successful conversion but will count towards Fourth Down conversion attempts.

  • Opening Kickoff Touchback: In the event of an onside kick or squib kick, the result of the kick will be deemed to not be a touchback and the “No” will be settled as the winner. Kicks out of bounds will be deemed to not be a touchback and the “No” will be settled as the winner. Trades will be voided for any accepted penalties that cause a re-kick, trades will stand for any other penalties that do not cause a re-kick.

  • Field Goal or Extra Point Kick Attempt to Hit Uprights or Crossbar: A Field Goal or Extra Point Kick Attempt must occur for trades to have action. Baseball

General Rules

  • All settlements of Outcomes are based on the results and statistics provided by the MLB.

  • Should a game not start on the day of the officially listed start time, as stated by the MLB, due to a rain delay or other similar Events, all Outcomes will be voided. The day of the event will be considered the day according to the time zone in which the game was scheduled to be played.

  • Unless otherwise stated additional innings, where applicable, count for settlement purposes.

  • Sporttrade reserves the right to halt trading on any MLB Outcome at any time during or before any MLB game, including before and during rain delays.

  • If a regular season game is suspended and does not reach its conclusion by 4:00 AM local time two calendar days after the day that the game commenced, then all unsettled Outcomes will be voided. • For all MLB games, Outcomes will not be void in the event that one or both teams changes their listed pitcher for the game.

  • If a game has started but is not official (Under 4.5 innings home team tied or down), all Outcomes may remain un-halted until the game is either resumed or scheduled to continue the next day. In the event that the game is scheduled to continue the next day, Sporttrade will halt trading in all Outcomes.

Winner Outcome

  • In the Event of a shortened game, results for game winner Outcomes are official after 5 innings of play, or 4.5 innings should the home team be leading coming to bat in the bottom of the 5th (the 4.5 Innings Rule.) Should a game be called, the Outcome that shall be settled at $100 is determined by the score after the last full inning completed (unless the home team score to tie, or take the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which the Outcome that shall be settled at $100 is determined by the score at the time the game is suspended)

Run Line and Total Runs Outcomes

Player Prop Outcomes

Batter Props

  • Total Bases: this is determined by summing the value of all their hits: 1 for a single, 2 for a double, 3 for a triple, and 4 for a home run.

  • The above criteria applies for both in-play and pre-game purposes.

  • For example: If Bryce Harper starts and records a plate appearance, his over 0.5 HR player prop will be eligible for settlement regardless of when the trade wager was placed.

Any ties, should they occur, would be settled in the dead head format.

  • Regular Season Win Totals (Baseball): The teams listed on the Outcome must finish all scheduled regular season games (using the schedule from the first day of the regular season) for the Outcome to be valid, unless the Outcome has been unconditionally determined and the remaining games during the season would not affect the Outcome. • All settlements are based on results and statistics provided by www.nhl.com.

  • The game must start on the scheduled date (local stadium time) for trades to have action.

  • If a contest has started, is subsequently delayed, and then resumed within 48 hours of the start time, all Outcomes will stand and be eligible for settlement. In the event that the game is scheduled to continue the next day, Sporttrade will halt trading in all Outcomes. If the contest does not resume within 48 hours, all outcomes will be voided unless unconditionally determined.

  • Overtime (including any subsequent shootout) counts towards all related listed Outcome settlements unless stated otherwise, and Outcomes that include Overtime and Shootout will be settled by adding a single goal to the team who wins the shootout. "To Win", puck line, and totals Outcomes include Overtime, unless "60 Minute" or similar language is used in the Outcome and/or Market description.

  • 60-minute Outcomes are settled on 60 minutes of play. Overtime and shootout goals are not included.

Player Prop Outcomes

  • Player Performance or Player Stat Outcomes: Outcomes for player propositions will only be valid if the player has time on ice, unless stated otherwise. If a player is listed as "inactive" for a game on NHL.com, all outcomes will be voided.

  • Overtime counts for player stats, but shootouts are not included.

  • Anytime/First/Last Goalscorer: Trade on whether a player will score a goal during the specified period.

  • Own goals do not count toward any goalscorer markets.

  • Bets stand as long as the player has time on ice, even if the player does not start.

  • Player Points: Calculated as the total of Goals + Assists by the player

Soccer

General Rules

  • All soccer Outcomes will be settled in accordance with official league results unless otherwise specified. All Outcomes on soccer are automatically on the basis of 90 minutes' play unless otherwise stated for that particular Outcome. 90 minutes' play includes time added on by referee for stoppages. This does not include extra time, penalty shoot-out, or golden goal.

  • For matches that are scheduled for a lesser duration (e.g., 60, 70 or 80) as agreed by the laws of the competition in which they are competing or agreed by both sides prior to kick-off. In such cases, all Outcomes will be settled at the end of the agreed game length which includes time added on by the referee for stoppages whether the game length is advertised by Sporttrade or not.

  • Results, Goal Line, and Total Goals Outcomes: Outcome settlements are determined by the final score at the conclusion of regulation. This encompasses any additional injury or stoppage time, but excludes extra time, penalty shoot-outs, or golden goals.

  • To Advance Outcomes: Outcome settlements are based on the results after considering extra time, in addition to the final score at the end of regular play. This includes any added injury or stoppage time but does not account for penalty shoot-outs or golden goals. The Outcome that settles at $100 will be the team that moves forward to the next phase of the contest or secures the championship title.

  • All Outcomes on an unplayed or postponed match will be voided if the event has been moved to more than 48 hours in the future. If the venue of the match changes, Outcomes will remain eligible for settlement as long as the Home Team remains designated as the Home Team or the venue is changed to a neutral site. Outcomes will be voided if these criteria are not met for venue changes.

  • In circumstances where over 90% of the scheduled match time has been completed and the referee ends the match before the allotted time has elapsed then Sporttrade will use that result for the settlement of all Outcomes.

  • If a match is abandoned after the match has started, all Outcomes will be voided except for those which have been unconditionally determined. If a suspended match is continued from the point of Suspension and completed before the end of the next calendar day, then all Outcomes on the match will be eligible for settlement. If a suspended match is not continued from the point of suspension and completed before the end of the next calendar day, then all Outcomes will be voided except for those which have been unconditionally determined.

"Own goals” do not count, should the first goal of the game be an "own goal", the Outcome listed on the player who scores the first non own goal will settle at $100. If the "own goal" is the only goal of the game, the 'no goalscorer' Outcome will settle at $100. Once a non-"own goal" is scored, all Outcomes in the Market will settle.

  • Last Goalscorer: Outcomes will be settled at the conclusion of the game. Extra time, other than injury time, is not included. If the match is suspended before the completion of regular time, then the Outcome listed on the last goal scorer shall settle at $100, and all other Outcomes shall settle at $0. If the match is suspended before the completion of regular time, and no goal, or only an "own goal" has been scored, then all Outcomes will be voided. Please note that "own goals” do not count, should the last goal of the game be an "own goal", the Outcome listed on the last player who scores the goal before the "own goal" will settle at $0. If the "own goal" is the only goal of the game, 'no goalscorer' will be settled as the winner.

  • Anytime Goalscorer: Outcomes are resulted at the end of regular time, any Outcome listed on a player that does not take part in the match will be voided. Please note that "own goals" do not count. If the match is suspended, then all Outcomes will be voided except for those which have been unconditionally determined.

Tennis

General Rules

  • All tennis Outcomes will be settled in accordance with the official website for each tournament or tournaments governing body

  • In the event of a tennis match not taking place or if a player is given a walkover, Outcomes on the match are deemed void.

  • In the event of a change in the number of sets to be played, Winner Outcomes will be eligible for settlement, all other Outcomes will be voided.

  • Regardless of changes in venue, court surface, or transitioning between indoor and outdoor settings, all trades remain valid and active.

  • In the event that a game is postponed, disrupted, or rearranged due to factors such as weather disturbances, insufficient lighting, or unforeseen circumstances, all trades on the match will remain active and valid until the conclusion of the match.

Winner Outcome

  • In the case a player withdraws or is disqualified once the match has started, trades made on the Winner market will remain in effect, as long as at least one Set has been completed, otherwise these trades will be void.

Total Games Outcomes and Games Spread Outcomes

  • In case a player withdraws or is disqualified once the match has started, trades made on any Total and Spread markets will be made void unless unconditionally determined.

  • Tiebreakers and super tiebreakers in tennis are recognized as one game

  • For instance, if a set is tied at 6-6, a tiebreaker is required. If the outcome of this tiebreaker is 7-5, then the set's final score will be 7-6. In this situation, the total number of games accounted for in the set is 13.

  • In doubles matches, and sometimes in other cases, a super tiebreaker may be played instead of a traditional third set. This is usually a race to 10 points with a 2 point advantage. Similar to regular tiebreakers, this super tiebreaker also counts as a one game.

Total Sets Outcomes and Set Spread Outcomes

  • In case a player withdraws or is disqualified once the match has started, trades made on any Total and Spread markets will be made void unless unconditionally determined.

  • For instance, in a best-of-three sets tennis match featuring Novak Djokovic against Rafael Nadal, where Djokovic leads 1-0 and withdraws during the second set, trades on Djokovic +1.5 sets would be deemed winners, while wagers on Nadal -1.5 sets would lose. This is because, with Djokovic's withdrawal, it's mathematically impossible for him to lose by more than 1.5 sets under any circumstances.

  • Similarly, if the match is tied at 1-1 in sets, in a best-of-three scenario, and either player withdraws before the match is complete, trades on over 2.5 sets would be settled as winners, and those on under 2.5 sets as losers.

Futures/Other Props

  • Tournament Winner: The winning player in the given tournament will be the one that moves forward to the final phase of the contest and secures the championship title. If a player does not play a single point in the tournament, then trades on that player will be void. If a player has started a match and is disqualified or withdraws for any reason, the player is eligible for settlement.

Limited Overs Matches:

  • In the event of a match resulting in a tie, and a super over or bowl out is conducted, the outcome of the match will be determined based on the result of the super over or bowl out. However, if the tie is resolved by a coin toss or any other method, then all trades will be declared void.

  • If a match is shortened for any reason, trades will be resolved according to the official winner as determined by the governing body's rules. This is applicable even when procedures such as the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method, or similar, are invoked to announce the official result of the match. Nonetheless, if no official result can be established, then all associated trades will be declared void.
